Tigers deny killing Hindu priest

Feb 9 (AFP) Tamil Tiger rebels denied killing a Hindu priest who welcomed President Mahinda Rajapakse to a former guerrilla bastion, as three more people were killed elsewhere. Sri Lankan officials had blamed the rebels for the death of Selliah Parameswar, who was dragged out of his house in Batticaloa district and killed late Wednesday by a group of unidentified gunmen. read more
