2 rival members killed in eastern Sri Lanka

Dec 20 (PD) Sri Lanka's Tamil Tiger rebels attacked an office of its breakaway group in the east Tuesday and killed at least two rival members. A spokesman for the rival faction led by Karuna alias Vinayagamurthi Muralitharan said Wednesday that the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) attacked their political office located in the Eastern Province town of Kalmunai around 9:00 p.m. local time Tuesday (1530 GMT). full story
