Three ministers sacked

Feb 9 (BBC) Three senior ministers of Sri Lanka cabinet were sacked on Friday, state television reported. Senior ministers Anura Bandaraike, Mangala Samaraweera and Sripathi Sooryaarachchi were removed their portfolios. President Mahinda Rajapaksa has tekne over the Ports, Aviation and National Heritage portfolios, a spokesman at the Presidential Secretariat said. more..
